What is CONNECT?

CONNECT College Ministry creates a space for students at TCU, TXWES, TCC, and others around Fort Worth to get connected to people who care. Here, students can find great friends, have lots of fun together, and learn more about God’s will for their lives.

We believe that college students are the future, so when we invest in them, we invest in the future! If you are a student right now, you have the capacity to bring great things going forward. If we change the campus here and now, we can change the world down the road!

Our mission is summarized by these three B’s:

Belong

God built us to work together, lift each other up, and bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2). Sharing life with others creates space for authenticity, honesty, and accountability, all of which bring help and healing. We encourage you to encourage others as we seek to follow Jesus together (Hebrew 10:25)!

Believe

God is the source of life, and to know him is to discover our true life and purpose (John 17:3). We want you to encounter God in deep and meaningful ways through studying scripture and praying together, praising God in worship, and being discipled by mature Christians.

Become

Jesus’s final command to his followers was that we would go and make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19). On campus, all the nations come right to you! Your time in college is the greatest opportunity you have to fulfill Jesus’s mission and bear witness to others of how awesome God really is (Acts 1:8).

During the school semester, we get together regularly to worship, study scripture, hang out, share meals, and take trips. Check out what’s going on so you can get connected!

SUNDAYS

Join us for worship service at Southside, followed by a Bible study time together in The Connect House (with donuts!)

THURSDAYS

CONNECT Late Night: 7-10pm

Late Night is a great way to get connected. We always have dinner provided, a short Bible conversation, and time to play games and hang out. Come out any Thursday!

LIFE GROUPS

Tuesday Group | 12:30pm | TXWES

Life Groups gather to study Scripture, share life, and grow closer to each other and to God. Contact us to get involved in a Life Group!

The Connect House

The Connect House is a place for students to hang out, study, relax, eat, or spend time together. The fridge and pantry are always stocked, there is a study room, a prayer room, and a living room with the biggest couch you’ve ever seen! We hang out here every Thursday night, but students are welcome to use the space any time. Contact us to come hang out!

Meet Chris

Chris Jeter has been serving in College Ministry since 2014. He attended Texas Christian University and Harding School of Theology. He is married to Justine and a dad to Selah.
